Recently, a delegation from the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (“PRASA”) and MACRE Joint Venture (“MACRE JV”) visited Beijing Jiaxun Feihong Electrical Co., Ltd. (“Jiaxun Feihong”, stock code: 300213) for a site visit and technical exchange focused on the South Africa NDN (PRASA-NationalDigital Network) Project.

Yu Yong, Executive Vice President of Jiaxun Feihong; Tang Rongwang, Chief Communications Engineer and Communications Business Director of the Major Transportation Business Sector; Bian Guang, Manager of the Production Center; Li Feichong, Regional Director of the International Business Department of the Major Transportation Business Sector; together with relevant leaders and project team members, received the delegation and held in-depth discussions with the visitors on project progress, technical solutions, and future cooperation.

During the visit, the PRASA and MACRE JV delegation first toured Jiaxun Feihong’s exhibition hall, gained a comprehensive understanding of the company’s technological capabilities and product portfolio in rail transit communications, command and dispatching, emergency communications, intelligent applications, and other fields. The delegation also exchanged views on the practical applications of related products in actual business scenarios. In addition, the delegation visited Jiaxun Feihong’s Production Center to gain first-hand insight into the manufacturing, assembly, testing, and quality control processes of related products, gained a more direct understanding of the company’s product delivery capabilities, production organization capabilities, and quality assurance system.

During the meeting, Yu Yong, Executive Vice President of Jiaxun Feihong, welcomed the delegation on behalf of the company and expressed gratitude to all teams for their support and cooperation during the course of project preparation and implementation. Yu noted that the project represents an important practice for the company in expanding overseas markets and improving its international project service capabilities. Jiaxun Feihong will continue to strengthen its technical, delivery, and localized service support capabilities in overseas regions, and provide open, compatible, and reliable solutions for railway operators in different regions amid the broader trend of railway communications upgrades. The parties also held detailed discussions on project implementation, system functions, delivery arrangements, and follow-up service support, while briefly reviewing the course of project cooperation.

In this project, Jiaxun Feihong is focusing on PRASA’s actual business scenarios and drawing on its technical expertise in FRMCS, MCX mission-critical communications, multimedia dispatching, and other areas, striving to creating practical value for the project in dispatch efficiency, communications reliability, and emergency response, while reserving room for future digital and intelligent upgrades.

The NDN Project is being implemented in South Africa. As an important economy in Africa, South Africa’s railway network plays a key role in national logistics, passenger commuting, and regional connectivity. With the continued development of railway operations, higher requirements are being placed on the stability, capacity, and future scalability of communications systems.

The transition from traditional GSM-R to FRMCS is in line with the global evolution of railway communications technologies and may provide reference for future upgrades in related markets. Jiaxun Feihong’s participation in the South African railway network communication upgrade project will proceed with relevant delivery and implementation work in accordance with the contract terms and project plan, while providing technical support for the customer’s communication needs in dispatch command, operational support, and emergency coordination.
