On July 13, representatives from the Nigerian Railway Corporation, China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC), and other stakeholders of the Kaduna–Kano Standard Gauge Railway (hereinafter referred to as the "Kaduna–Kano Railway") visited Beijing Jiaxun Feihong Electrical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jiaxun Feihong", Stock Code: 300213). The delegation toured the company’s exhibition hall, engaged in discussions, and conducted Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and inspections on the equipment supplied by Jiaxun Feihong for the project. This milestone marks the entry of the supplied equipment into the verification and delivery preparation phase.

At the Jiaxun Feihong exhibition hall, the client representatives gained a systematic understanding of the company’s development history, core technologies, partner portfolio, as well as its innovative practices and project experience in the railway and urban rail transit sectors. Through on-site presentations and interactive exchanges, the delegation deepened its appreciation of Jiaxun Feihong’s R&D capabilities, manufacturing competence, and service system.

During the discussion session, Yu Yong, Executive Vice President of Jiaxun Feihong, welcomed the FAT delegation and stated: "A successful project relies on partners who uphold equality, mutual trust, and shared objectives. This factory acceptance is a significant milestone in the project’s progress, reflecting our collective commitment to quality, transparency, and long-term cooperation. Jiaxun Feihong will continue to strengthen its localized support and technical services in Nigeria, and is committed to working hand-in-hand with all parties to drive the high-quality implementation of the project."

During the FAT phase, the client representatives and Jiaxun Feihong’s project and technical teams carried out inspections on the configuration, functionality, and operational status of the relevant equipment in accordance with the established plan. They also engaged in thorough discussions on technical details, project requirements, and subsequent delivery arrangements. The orderly execution of the FAT is a critical quality assurance step in transitioning equipment from manufacturing to on-site deployment, laying the groundwork for subsequent shipment, installation, commissioning, and project implementation.

Spanning approximately 203 kilometers, the Kaduna–Kano Railway connects the northern Nigerian cities of Kaduna and Kano. It is a vital component of Nigeria’s national railway network plan, known as the "Three Vertical and Five Horizontal" framework. The project is undertaken by CCECC. Upon completion, it will connect with the existing Abuja–Kaduna Railway, further enhancing the northern railway corridor and providing safer, more efficient, and more convenient transportation support for passenger travel, freight movement, and industrial development along the route.

During construction, Jiaxun Feihong is supplying its latest multimedia dispatching system and IP soft-switching system equipment for the project. Once commissioned, this equipment will provide technical support for line dispatching command, communication coordination, and operational synergy. This marks Jiaxun Feihong’s continued involvement in local railway construction following its participation in the Abuja Light Rail, Abuja–Kaduna Railway, and Lagos–Ibadan Railway projects. Sustained engagement in these key local railway projects not only represents further practice of the company’s technical products and project delivery capabilities in overseas markets, but also contributes Jiaxun’s strength to the service of Nigerian transportation infrastructure through Chinese railway communication technology and equipment.

The advancement of the Kaduna–Kano Railway project has also deepened the cooperation between Jiaxun Feihong and CCECC. The two parties have continued to strengthen collaboration across technical solutions, equipment supply, and production delivery to jointly support the orderly implementation of the project. Taking this FAT as a new starting point, Jiaxun Feihong will continue to leverage its technical expertise in intelligent dispatching command and industry communications, further enhance communication and cooperation with CCECC and Nigerian clients, increase investment in overseas markets, refine its international business layout, and continuously improve its product, service, and project delivery capabilities—helping to bring more overseas rail transit projects to fruition.
